Stefan Corthouts


Stefan Corthouts has more than 25 years of experience in banking and in the international funds industry. Before founding consulting firm Bucephale Consult, he held the position of executive director, market manager at J.P. Morgan Bank Luxembourg, a leading provider in the Luxembourg market. He was a member of the senior management team of the bank responsible for the global development strategy and was in charge of advising managers of traditional global funds, as well as hedge and private equity funds on their Luxembourg product strategy. Before his function at J.P. Morgan, Stefan held a number of senior positions at Citigroup and State Street. He was based in Brussels, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Singapore before becoming a resident of Luxembourg in 2001. Stefan holds a degree at INSEAD, is a member of the Luxembourg Institute of Directors (ILA) and as such is a certified director. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics.
